Sedgwick County Sheriff's Captain Graduates From FBI Academy

Captain Annette Haga, from the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office, has graduated from the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.

Captain Haga has been with the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office for 20 years and currently is the commander of criminal investigations.

Her eleven weeks of course work included classes in officer-involved shootings, communication strategies, legal issues impacting law enforcement operations, overview of forensic science for police administrators, conflict resolution for law enforcement executives and management of death investigations.

A total of 266 law enforcement officers attended the academy.

Captain Haga will return from Quantico and resume her duties with the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Department next week.
