Careless Smoking Causes Fire in Northeast Wichita
Fire officials say careless smoking caused a fire last night in the 1700 block of North Grove.

Fire officials say careless smoking caused a fire last night in the 1700 block of North Grove.
Wichita fire crews arrived on the scene at about 11:00 p.m. to find heavy smoke and fire coming from a home.
Firefighters were able to knock the fire down quickly.
The man living in the home made it out safely. No one was injured.
Officials blame careless smoking for the fire which started in the bathroom. Damages are estimated at $25,000 to the structure and $10,000 to its contents.
