May 5- It was just before noon Wednesday when a letter arrived at KAKE studios.
KAKE-TV 10 and the station's address was typed on a label. The return address is from Thomas B. King, 408 Clayton Street in Wichita, an address that does not exist. "We are trying to determine if it is a part of a puzzle we are working on," said Wichita Police Deputy Chief Terri Moses.
Inside the envelope were three pieces of paper. Here's what police say we can release:
Veteran BTK investigator Bernie Drowatsky compared this letter to other letters sent by BTK this afternoon. "There are indications it could very well be, or someone that's well studied on the case," Drowatsky said.
