Campaign Money Raised for Governor's Race

Democrat Kathleen Sebelius has raised more money than any other candidate in the governor's race.

Documents filed on Monday with the secretary of state's office show the two-term insurance commissioner has raised $1.1million in seven months.

Wichita Mayor Bob Knight led all Republicans in fund raising, with nearly $850,000 in contributions from January first through July 25.

Next is Senate President Dave Kerr. He raised more than $650,000 in only two months of campaigning for the Republican nomination for governor.

State Treasurer Tim Shallenburger reported raising nearly $450,000 this year.

A finance report for Dan Bloom of Eudora was not available for review.
