Three men are behind bars in connection with shots fired at an occupied home in Ottawa County and a vehicle on Interstate 70 in Saline County.

Three Ottawa County men have been arrested in connection to the criminal discharge of a firearm that took place at a house just south of Minneapolis. According to Ottawa County Sheriff, Keith Coleman, the three men took part in shooting at a dwelling that was occupied on Friday around 2am and early Saturday around 3am. "We had a house on K-106 Highway, an occupied dwelling that was fired upon," he said.

Sheriff Coleman says there were two people in the house at the time. "We recovered a 7.62x39mm round from an SKS Assault rifle out of the living room and a 9mm hand gun round from some floor joists," he said. No one in the house was injured.

According to Sheriff Coleman, there may have been a confrontation between the suspects and the two residents earlier in the week.

Eighteen year old Brian Enright, 19-year old Shane Patrick and 20-year old Robert Feebeck were all arrested Monday morning at a residence in Tescott. All three are being held on $20,000 bond and could face multiple charges that include criminal discharge of a firearm.

Sheriff Coleman tells KSAL News that after interviewing the suspects authorities now believe that Enright, Patrick and Feebeck are also connected to an incident in Saline County where someone fired at and hit at least one moving vehicle on I-70 over the weekend.

Law enforcement officials are seeking another suspect in the case who could be in the Topeka area.

Saline County Sheriff Glen Kochanowski says that all three men arrested will face charges in Saline Country that could include attempted second-degree murder.

A Colorado family received an eerie greeting to Saline County.

According to Saline County Sheriff, Glen Kochanowski, a Colorado family traveling eastbound on I-70 early Monday morning had a bullet enter and exit through the cab of their 2004 Dodge Ram truck.

The driver heard a loud bang just before 5am as he drove near mile post 242 around Reese Road in rural Saline County. When the driver realized his back window was shattered he continued up the Interstate a couple of more miles until he reached a well lighted area. His wife and three young daughters had all been asleep.

Deputies confirmed that a bullet had entered the top of the truck's cab and passed through the vehicle shattering the back window, leaving shards of glass all over the passengers in the back. Total damage is estimated at $4,000. There were no injuries.
