A 70-year-old Manhattan man is dead after he was reportedly shot Friday night by a Riley County woman.

A 70-year-old Manhattan man is dead after he was reportedly shot Friday night by a Riley County woman.
Police were called to a residence at 1840 Plymouth Drive in Manhattan at around 7:20 p.m. Friday night. Robert Potter was pronounced dead at the scene.
Martha Potter, 63, is being held in connection to the shooting at the Riley County Jail on $150,000 bond.
A Riley County dispatcher refused comment on whether the victim or suspect are related or the circumstances of the shooting.
