WICHITA, Kan. — Seven people were arrested during a DUI saturation patrol conducted by Sedgwick County sheriff's deputies over the weekend.
The patrol happened between 11 p.m. Saturday and 3 a.m. Sunday in an undisclosed part of Sedgwick County.
During that time, deputies arrested five people for DUI, another for a driver's license violation and one for a felony warrant. They also issued 25 misdemeanor citations and 14 infraction citations.
The patrol consisted of one sergeant, four deputies and one reserve deputy, and was funded by a Kansas Department of Transportation grant.
