Don't believe the government or NASA December 21st, 2012 will be the end of the world mark my words

Those that truly understand history know that Hitler and Mussolini had strong ties to the Liberal Left. While most would like to believe that Nazi Germany stemmed from right wing radicals it was actually quite the opposite. Im starting to see some serious similarities.

I'm just hoping this rediculous bill doesn't make it through the senate!

VS: in their eyes, the government is not trying to ruin the country. The Democrats are just trying to turn it into a socialist country. Our forefathers did not want this for our country eighther.

Our economy is still not over what happend on 9/11/01. Plus The war is costing our economy (although necessary). Plus it don't help that all our jobs are going overseas, and elsewhere. Now we have to put up with the Gov't taking over Health care. Makes you wonder what else is up the Gov'ts sleeve. I wonder if they're trying to ruin our country. I hope they don't get this past the Senate. We should keep track of who votes for it and vote them out next time they're up for re-election.

When push comes to shove, IT'S OUR FAULT AND OUR FAULT ONLY FOR THE ECONOMY! We were not responsible in our spending, who we voted for, etc. Now we are felling the pain from it and are just trying to find someone else to blame.

Im a Kansan, a Democrat, and voted for Obama....I did so because I was convinced a Dem could get the economy going again...I was wrong. Even I am aware of the ridiculous spending going on...what has the stimulus done? What will this health care bill do? What about cap and trade? I dont want to pay higher Westar bills...its too high now! Very bad direction our country is heading in....I will now vote for the best candidate period.....what a let down this admin has been. Can anyone tell me how we can sustain the cost of this disaster of a bill????

It is so easy to blame someone (president or otherwise) for America's downfall of the economy, but what the heck are we doing to help take care of the MESS that we are all in? I don't see very many people (citizens, lawmakers, politicians, economists) doing anything towards a solution, brainstorming to do something good for everyone...but everyone can sit back an complain about it! I guess welcome to America, the land of the brave and the LAZY! Get over it people...GET WITH IT and put something foward that can be used to help come up with a solution. Darn it we are the cause of it! We've elected the officials that have pocketed money to make themselves richer and continue to do so! The president is only one person and God Bless him for at least trying! What have you shown toward making any accomplishment to this? Have you sat and voted in the same darn political person in office rather than trying to find out who's trying to do something good for us and not LYING about it? NOT!

The other day I was checking out a lady and she was complaining about how the price of everything has gone up while you get less product and she threw Obama's name in there as the reason why. And i told her, no, before he even became President the price was going up: remember the gas prices: everything else went up around that time, too, far before Obama got elected. Her response: "Well, obama's not doing anything about it." (in other words, somehow it is still Obama's fault, though he did not cause it.) And what is he supposed to do; wouldn't that be more government involvement which most of these people who make him their scapegoat for everything are supposedly against? There is no reasoning with these people, most of them are too lazy to look anything up for themselves, instead they just parrot what they hear on Fox and believe all the spin and hype without fact checking, or they only fact check via Fox and other republican only sources. It's sad people are such sheep.

Who cares?

Can anyone show me where anyone has a Constitutional right to health care?? This has NOTHING to do with healthcare. It is about government CONTROL. Control over your life. Wake up sheeple.

I think it's time for you to "get real" MM. medicare and medicade are going bankrupt because of big government, not because of the insurance companies, but because the government is borrowing it for other things. You may change your tune when you have an extra 8-14% missing from your income. Not to mention what you'll pay if you don't have "acceptable" insurance coverage. Mabey you need to read the bill to see how rediculous it is (I'll be happy to email it to you).

Get real people - The way it is now is the Insurance Industry is who's getting rich. We've already and have been paying for the people that can't afford insurance, medicare and medicade (already government-which I believe most of the elderly are happy to have coverage, because if they didn't have it how much would the insurance companies charge them-due to pre-existing conditions, age, etc.very few would be able to have any coverage at all without it) We have been paying for welfare years, so why all the hoopla. I currently have insurance with my employer, but that is getting ready to change, due to the increase of the insurance rates - This doesn't have anything to due with Obama, they have been increasing it every year since I've been here. Wake up people.

Wow, obese people are really taking a hit by some of these comments. I know many overweight people who work just as hard as anyone else so to call them lazy is just plain awful! Many I know, have 2 & 3 jobs!!
