UPDATE : A man in his 20's stabbed in the chest in the 1500 block of South George Washington has been treated and released from the hospital. Police say the man received a minor wound to his chest and was not considered life threatening. Police continue to investigate.

Wichita Police are investigating a stabbing in the 1500 Block of South George Washington. 9-1-1 dispatchers say a man in his 20's was stabbed in the chest around 5:00 p.m. Saturday.
The man was transported to a Wichita Hospital in Critical Condition.
