44-Year-Old Man Arrested For Robbery In East Wichita
A 44-year-old man was arrested in connection with a robbery and another robbery attempt in East Wichita Friday.

A 44-year-old man was arrested in connection with a robbery and another robbery attempt in East Wichita Friday.
Wichita Police said the man came into the Bag Cleaners in the 5600 Block of East Central and attempted to rob the store. The suspect was unsuccessful and went to another related business.
The suspect then went to the Royal Cleaners at 500 North Rock Road and robbed the store for an unknown amount of cash. An off duty officer followed the suspect vehicle until officers were able to stop the car and arrest the suspect.
It is unknown whether the suspect was armed.
