Wichita teacher Tina Zeller is on a plane to Fort Hood to check on her daughter-in-law and grandchildren. They live on the post and were home during a shooting Thursday that killed 13 people.

They were not hurt, but Zeller's co-workers went together to get her a ticket to Texas for the weekend.

"I just want to see them and hug them and rejoice that they are safe and we are praying for the other people," said Zeller.

Her son is stationed out of Fort Hood, but is in Iraq. Zeller says she hopes to help other people on the post get through this difficult time.

Authorities believe an army major opened fire because he was upset about being deployed to Iraq.
