The Feed Wichita program raised $45,000 for the Lord's Diner, organizers announced today.
The event was held Wednesday. Wichita Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and Blockbuster locations gave ten percent of their business on that day to the Lord's Diner.
The money raised is enough to cover the cost of a month's worth of meals. The Lord's Diner feeds 475 hungry Wichitans on a nightly basis.
The sponsors of the Feed Wichita event were Fugate Enterprises, Entercom Radio and KAKE-TV
