Three California men have been charged with drug trafficking after authorities seized an airplane that landed in Liberal carrying more than 125 pounds of cocaine.

A federal indictment returned Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Wichita charged Eric Wayne McPeters, Dean Bryan Moya, and Richard Allen Vickery, all of Hemet, California, with one count of possession with intent to distribute cocaine.

If convicted, the defendents face a penalty of 10 years or more and a fine of up to $4 million.
