Kansas Attorney General Steve Six and law enforcement officers are again warning students of a serial rapist they believe is responsible for 13 attacks at Kansas State University and the University of Kansas.

Six says the same man is believed to be responsible for 13 rapes in Lawrence and Manhattan since 2001. Six held forums on personal safety at both universities on Wednesday.

He says the attacks occurred during breaks from school such as fall or spring break. Law enforcement officials believe the man is a white, slender male of medium height. They say he usually is armed and wears something over his face.

Six would not comment Wednesday on the status of the investigations in the string of rapes.
