A Western Kansas man was killed in a car crash early Sunday morning near the Norton/Phillips County line. It happened about five miles west of the city of Logan on K-9 Highway.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 34 year-old Glen Walters, of Densmore, KS, was driving west when he lost control and went into the south ditch. His 2007 Dodge Ram pickup struck a driveway entrance to a field and then went airborne and rolled.
Walters was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown out of the vehicle as it rolled over several times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
