Park City Doctor George Watson says each American should own his own health care insurance policy instead of a government owned one like President Obama is proposing.

In 2003, fed up with insurance companies, Watson canceled all insurance contracts and started charging his patients cash up front. That helped lower his costs.

"I'm not bogged down with the paperwork and filing that has to be done and focus strictly on the patient," said Doctor George Watson.

Watson is working with the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons in filing a petition against President Obama's health care reform plan. If Mr. Obama's plan passes, Watson predicts many doctors in the country will get fed up with regulations and quit.
