Florence Man Found Guilty Of Aggravated Criminal Sodomy
Attorney General Steve Six announced today that a Marion County jury has found Robert S. Smyser guilty of one count of Aggravated Criminal Sodomy of a Child.

Attorney General Steve Six announced today that a Marion County jury has found Robert S. Smyser guilty of one count of Aggravated Criminal Sodomy of a Child.
The act occurred in April of 2008 in Florence, Kansas. The victim was under the age of 14 at the time.
Because of Jessica's Law the presumptive sentence is life without the possibility of parole until 25 years, as well as lifetime registration as a sex offender.
The sentencing date has not been set.
