A farm accident in rural Northern Kansas has led to the death of man from Clyde, KS. Richard Anderson was reportedly unloading cattle catch pens in a field along the Washington/Republic County line, just off of K-148 Highway.

It is believed Anderson somehow became trapped in the pens and could not escape.

The Washington County Sheriff's Department and Linn EMS responded to the call, but Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene. He was 55 years-old.
