9-year-old Cody Stuhlsatz has been upgraded to serious condition tonight after being injured in an automobile accident early Monday evening in Sumner County.

9-year-old Cody Stuhlsatz has been upgraded to serious condition tonight after being injured in an automobile accident early Monday evening in Sumner County.
Cody was a passenger in a vehicle driven by his 16-yr-old sister, Tracy Stuhlsatz. County Police Chief Gerald Gilkey said Stuhlsatz failed to yield at a right-of-way and was struck by a westbound vehicle on 70th Ave.
The accident happened about 5:15pm at the intersection of 70th Ave and Chicaskia Rd near Conway Springs.
Jason Carl, 19, whose age was initially reported from the scene as 14, was also a passenger in the car. He has been treated and released from Via Christi-St. Francis after overnight observation. Tracy Stuhlsatz was not hurt in the crash.
