I like fishing so I have an exuse to give to my wife for sitting on a boat and drinking beer all day.
I think she did the right thing by putting it back. if she didnt plan on eating it there's no need to keep it. some people, like myself, fish for the joy of it. i never keep a thing, but its fun to see what you can get and its relaxing! good for you letting it go back and get even bigger! lol
they were crazy to let it go i catch them or bigger all the time and yes we keep them
arGh MATY THIS HERE BE TALE one that these great eyers have never seens before in the vicious oceans Id have to see me self ARGH
Good for her, but I would've ate it as well! Heck, the only thing I'd been able to catch all year is turtles. Needless to say, they don't get put back, or do they get ate, but they are headless when I'm done with them.
she used a goldfish for bait
ahhh,,what a kind hearted story,,,,if it only weighed 40 pounds,,,i would have went ahead and skined it and ate it,,,,yum, yum !!!!
What a tall tale! LOL Where is the photo of this monstrous fish? Not that I don't believe them. But would just like to marvel at it a little bit. :D
Nice, what did she use for bait?
