Boeing and the International Association of Machinists begin daily talks on Monday in Seattle.
They'll be working toward a contract to replace the one that expires at midnight September first.
The contract covers about 26,000 workers in Wichita, Washington state and Portland, Oregon.
District 751 represents the Washington employees.
And in Seattle district president Mark Blondin listed the top goals as job security and bigger pensions
Talks will intensify on August 15th as the two sides begin round-the-clock negotiations.
Boeing will make its final offer on August 27. A vote by the machinists is set for August 29.
