Quick thinking may have solved not one but possibly two Wichita bank robberies.
Police say tellers gave cash to a woman in her late 40's who said she had a bomb. The bomb turned out to be a dealer's tag from Rusty Eck Ford.
Police say the woman had taken a detour from her test drive and had left her car at the dealers.
She then allegedly robbed the Fidelity Bank and used the jeep as a get away vehicle.
Police did stop the vehicle near 29th and Woodlawn. Since she claimed to have a bomb, police blocked off Woodlawn from 21st to 29th street.
FBI agents spent the evening questioning the woman. Not just about this robbery, but also a similar hold up at the Commerce Bank at 21st and Tyler and couple of weeks ago.
