A 15-month-old backed over by a car in West Wichita yesterday has been released from hospital.
The child was hit in the 900 block of N. Country Acres, at a home near Central and Ridge.
The victim was playing with his older brother in the driveway, when a car backed over the smaller child as it was leaving.
A family member said the boy's leg had been run over, but it was not broken. He also said the child had a bruised lung and minor head injuries.
