Okay Wichita here is my problem.Someone gets arrested for DUI,they go to jail for 4 to 8 hrs and bond out or walk out on their word to go to court on so & so date.Yes great job Wichita PD you got the drunk off the streets for one night, but what happens after that?OH YEAH the court date. This is where I feel our system is broke,I have witness it myself many times where people never get charge for the DUI they were arrested for.LOST FILE or PAPER is the reason. This worries me Wichita.People with 4 to 5 DUI arrest and no real jail time. How does this happen? We want our city to be tuff on the DUI offenders. How is that going to happen when paper work is lost and nothing never comes about it?Just wait untill next time the same person get arrested or causes a bad crash or death. Some might consider that luck or a prayer that was heard, but it really is not doing any one good in this City when repeat DUI are still drinking and drive cause they got a way with it before.

Impaired driver deterrence grant, should include people with the apparent lack of ability to use their left hand. The lack of turn signal use in this City, proves that most drivers in Wichita are right handed. If the left hand is to busy to use the turn indicator, what is the right hand doing? Can o beer? Texting? Cell phone? Waving? Eye shadow? Hitting themselves on the forehead, screaming "why is he pulling me over? I did nothing wrong!!!"

Get the 70 and 80 year old road hazards off the road too if you're worried about bad driving! They can't see 3 feet in front of them and can't hear a 747 2 feet a way at full throttle and their driving, the guy with 3 beers in him does not scare me but these old people scare the life out of me,they are a mennace!

I'm glad law enforcement is doing the saturation patrols. There are too many irresponsible and immature people who don't know how to drink responsibly and are a menace to other drivers who are attentive and responsible. If you're going to drink, do it at home. If someone gets drunk, drives, gets arrested, then they get what they asked for. Get the stupid drunks off the road!
