Arrests Made During Weekend DUI Saturation Patrol

The Wichita Police Department arrested four people during a weekend DUI saturation patrol.

The officers from the Patrol North Bureau began their DUI saturation patrol Friday, July 3 at 10:00 p.m. and ended the patrol at 2:00 a.m. Saturday.

Four drunk drivers were identified and arrested and one person was arrested for transporting an open container or alcohol. Thirteen drivers were also ticketed for traffic violations.

The checkpoint was funded by the Impaired Driver Deterrence Grant.
