The victim burned in the mobile home explosion in Towanda Sunday night has died.

Andrew Covey, 38, succumbed to his injuries around 10 p.m. Monday night at Via Christi St. Francis.

Neighbors and investigators said the explosion was so big it may have thrown the man inside the home, out. Investigators said he suffered burns over most of his body.

Neighbors used a garden hose to put out the flames on Covey's body.

Butler County Sheriff's Deputies said the explosion was caused by something involving natural gas. The state fire marshal's office is still investigating to determine the exact cause. That investigation may take several more days.
