Summertime means fun at the pool, but swimming with you and your kids are bacteria and disease. How do you know if your pool is clean?
KAKE News went on pool patrol with Wichita inspectors. They check for chlorine levels and other chemical levels that kill bacteria. If those levels aren't right, the pool is immediately shut down. "If you're chemicals aren't balanced you can pass diseases on to other people", said pool inspector Jasmine Mallonee.
Sunday on KAKE News at 10, learn how often your pools are inspected, and what caused a public pool to be shut down. Go on "Pool Patrol"--Sunday on KAKE News at 10.
