Police Cleared In Fatal Clay Center Shooting
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation says Clay Center police officers used justifiable force when they fatally shot a 66-year-old man on June 14.

Or wait 1/10th of a second and be shot. If your stupid enough to point a gun at police then expect to get shot. Besides the "toys" they make now look just like the real thing, unless you have a supersoaker.
i think shooting was the decision, now everyone else gets to armchair quarterback.
sure would like to see the plastic "gun" how realistic was it? if they had hesitated 1/10 second could thay have seen it as fake? guess it is just better to shoot first and ask questions later than try to make a decision.

The police here made a split second decision when they felt their lives were in danger. Today many real guns look fake and some fake guns look very real. This man made the decision to point a gun at a police officer. He killed himself by doing that. I'm sure the officers were not happy shooting the man, but they were forced to because of his actions.
