Call it a case of racing at the wrong place and time.

Wichita Police officers conducted a LiDAR speed enforcement operation in the 6600 block of East Kellogg Wednesday morning. Officers cited 22 drivers for speeding.

Two cars were clocked at 107 and 98 miles per hour respectively. Police said those cars were racing each other when they were stopped. The speed limit in the area is 60 mph.

The driver of another vehicle traveling at 85 MPH was arrested on traffic charges for driving on a revoked driver's license.
