Don't Speed! Need I say more.
Posted by: jim Location: wichita on Jul 7, 2009 at 08:41 PM

I just want to say up front that i'm glad the cops got the racers. But i think the whole thing is a front to make the city money threw tickets. they have set up speed traps in several places, giveing tickets for crossing tracks to soon as they say, watching and STOCKING bars and clubs. more and more since the city has anounced it's need for money. Then turning around and blowing money on things that are not really needed like fancy bridges, areanas, fancy cross walks and intercetions. we need to start thinking about paying our bills first then using what is left for the fancy stuff with out haveing to lay off city employees. just my opinion.

A bunch of whiners! Just accept the fact you got caught....but then again your probably the idiots who turn on the stove...touch the hot burner and complain that the thing was hot and you got burned. ALSO, a trap would telling you to purposely drive 70 in a 60, then stopping you. The speed limit is posted all over Kellogg, learning to read, pay attention...and if the guy in front u you drives off the bridge...WELL IN YOUR CASE...PLEASE FOLLOW.

If you speed, you deserve a ticket. No if's, and's or but's. My question is, how many cops were ticketed for speeding? I don't know how many times I have been on Kellogg doing 60-62mph,( I admit I go over the limit now and then) and a cop passes me like I am sitting still. I understand that sometimes there are emergencies or whatever they have to respond to, but shouldn't they have their lights flashing or something? I don't think they should be able to speed just because they are cops or highway patrol. They should have to follow the same speed limits that we have to. I don't think they are "above the law" just because they enfore the law.

Dakk, I would like to leave this message board with one last post. I’ve been thinking; this debate began with someone saying they don’t care if an individual lives or dies as a result from speeding. I clearly said that is nothing less than wishing harm upon that individual. Now, you can double talk all you want, but, the fact is I am correct; I do not know if you suffer from delusions or whatever your problem is; (I really don’t care.) Additionally, I can clearly see by your remarks you are taking this far too personal (turning flush, shaking hands, ect.) So, before you suffer from some medical condition, I’ll just say goodbye. I’ll keep playing video games, and you make sure your depends are clean when you go out in public. Thanks for reading my comment.

Dakk, by the way you Old-man, you plagiarized one of my comments without giving me credit. That’s illegal! Oh, and I hear Centrum Silver works wonders for old people. Thanks for reading my comment.

Ok, Dakk, first off, this is not a Star Wars movie. Ok, got it? Now, I will chalk this one up to your age and the possibility that you are suffering from dementia. I clearly stated: “Survival is an inherent behavior and desire of humans.” Got it so far old-man? Then I stated: “For another human not to care if another lives or dies, especially by a tragic and/or unplanned event would be discarding that portion of our behavior” So, Old-man, what I am saying is that: if you do not care if someone dies, that is essentially wishing harm upon them. Now, Old-man, change your depends, think it through, and try your best to retort. Ignorant commenter’s deserved to be tased! Thanks for reading my comment.

Rock The Boat, you have no clue what you're saying. You stated "For another human not to care if another lives or dies...". Did you not? Can you think? Can you see? What does that say? Can you read? That is what indifference means - not caring. Learn how to read or stop commenting. As for my use of allcaps - since the site doesn't include code to type in italics or bold (to place emphasis on a particular word or phrase) typing the emphasized words in allcaps is the only option. But I wouldn't expect a 14 year old who barely leaves his parents' basement to understand. Good luck working for McDonalds. And I'm sorry for using big words. Next time I'll be sure to use words with 4 or fewer letters so it won't confuse you.

Dakk: One more thing, why don’t you grow some and quit swinging from other peoples.
Posted by: Rock the Boat on Jun 27, 2009 at 04:40 PM

Dakk: Your post does not make much sense; if I were to have used indifference, than I would be agreeing that it is acceptable. Perhaps you should buy an English dictionary; because the translation you use is not correct; as for growing up, it appears that you, yourself are the one who displays the juvenile attributes with your excessive desire to use the caps-lock button on your keyboard. Dakk, your ignorance is deserving of a good tasing. Thanks for reading my comment.

Rock The Boat needs to get a dictionary and learn the difference between desire and indifference - as in: he desires to change Anoni's indifference into a survival instinct (which he apparently doesn't know what THAT is either). But, then we already know he's confused. He acts like he's 14 years old and this is a video game forum. Or a sandbox in his preschool's playground. RtB should get a job, get a life, and move out of his parents' basement.

way to go! wonder who won before they were harassed by the WPD.

Ok, is everyone following along? Survival is an inherent behavior and desire of humans. For another human not to care if another lives or dies, especially by a tragic and/or unplanned event would be discarding that portion of our behavior. Thereby, wishing harm upon that individual. You people really should think things through; then blurt out your ignorance. I think KAKE should have the authority to tase ignorant commenter’s. Thanks for reading my comment.
