So sad for the grief they have now, but as usual the farming community came through in helping a family in a time of trouble even at the expense of leaving their own fields to help others.

That's what farm life is all about. I was blessed to grow up with the same kind of outpouring when things are tough. May God be with the Simon family as they mourn their losses with the support of wonderful, God-given friends.

This story is so close to my heart. My mom died 19 years ago this summer. It was time to plow then, and was incredibile how all of the neighbors pulled together and helped us. My family is still to this day devoted to our neighbors for all they did for us. My heart goes out to this family, but everything happens for a reason.

I just love the way people stepped in to help. I wish more people was like this so we can have good news instead of oall the bad news that is reported everyday. May God bless the family and all the wonderful people who helped.

What a great group of people. This is what life is about. Unfortunately people suffer great losses in their lifetimes. And this is what Kansans do in that time of need. How blessed you all are to know each other.
