Fatal Accident In McPherson County
One person is dead after an accident in McPherson County Saturday evening.

One person is dead after an accident in McPherson County Saturday evening.

Seventy-year-old James Rogers of Fairplay, Colorado was killed when his Subaru Lagacy collided head with a Ford Bronco in the eastbound lanes of U56 just east of 18th Avenue.

The driver of the Bronco, 68-year-old Jason Schulz of Salina, Kansas, was injured in the crash. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports he was transported to a Hutchinson hospital. His condition is not known at this time.

The accident may have been caused by high winds or rain.
