The National Weather Service states a 75 mph wind caused a Hutchinson building to collapse late Wednesday night.

Reno County 911 dispatchers report the collapse happened near the intersection of 2nd and Monroe. They also report a tree fell down on a house in the city. There are no reports of injuries in either case.

In addition, the county is suffering from power outages. 911 dispatchers say there is no electricity for some residents in Plevna, Abbyville and Partridge. Westar Energy reported 390 customers without power Wednesday night. It's not known how many of these are power outages from storms that moved through the area earlier this week.
