A man has been arrested in connection with an attempted robbery of a Garden City store. A clerk stopped the robbery earlier this week by fighting back.
Garden City police released video of the suspect who walked into the "Money Stop" on Kansas Avenue and asked the clerk to cash a check. Police said the suspect pulled a gun, and the clerk pushed him out, then closed the door.
A 29-year-old man was arrested in Wichita early Thursday. The man is being held in the Sedgwick County jail.
Kansas prison records show the man was discharged in November, 2008 after serving time for a drug conviction.
