Larned Hospital To Close
Larned will be losing about 90 jobs on Sept. 30 when St. Joseph Memorial Hospital and its long-term care unit close.

Jack obviously doesn't pay much attention to detail. It's St. Joseph Memorial Hospital that is closing, not the Larned State Hospital. This town of 4000 will now be without a hospital and ER with the closest over 30 minutes away. And if this does eventually cause the downsizing of Larned State Hospital, hopefully the real nutjobs will go congregate in Topeka.
So... Where will the most mentally ill patients go? Hopefully not back into society.
