Roger Valadez Dies
Wichita Man once linked to the BTK investigation is dead.

November 28--A man who won a million dollar verdict from a Wichita television station after being named a BTK suspect has died. Family members found Roger Valadez dead in his home yesterday.
An autopsy is being performed to determine the cause of the death but his attorney says it appears Valadez died from a heart attack.
Valadez made news when Wichita detectives searched his home, responding to a tip that he might be the serial killer BTK. A DNA test cleared him.
Valadez sued KSNW claiming that by using his name during the incident the station acted outrageously and injured his reputation. A jury awarded Valadez $1.1 million in damages.
Valadez' attorney says it would be inappropriate to talk about the impact his client's death will have on the jury's award.
