A former Derby School Board member appeared in Sedgwick County Court this morning where he was charged with lewd & lascivious behavior.

A former Derby School Board member appeared in Sedgwick County Court this morning where he was charged with lewd & lascivious behavior.

John Roberts, 67, is charged with three felony counts and three misdemeanor counts.

Roberts was arrested last month, after police investigated complaints made by one of his neighbors. Roberts resigned his position on the Derby School Board days later.

Roberts is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on June 16th.
