An accident kills an 11-year-old El Dorado boy, and sends two other people to the hospital.

It happened north of El Dorado on Kansas Highway 196 around 8:00 Sunday night. A car and a pickup truck hit each other head-on. Austin Alexander was a passenger in the car, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Alexander's mother was driving the car. She and the pickup driver were taken to the hospital.
