Hundreds turned out in Old Town this evening, to remember Dr. George Tiller. The Wichita doctor was shot and killed during a church service this morning.
People who worked for Dr. Tiller and who volunteered at the clinic shared their memories.
Organizers said the vigil was intended to be a peaceful gathering to show support for Tiller's family and friends. A handful of protesters showed up across the street from the vigil. Dozens of police officers were also on the scene, although no problems were reported.
