A Sumner County family is asking for help finding a Jack Russell Terrier that bit an 11-year-old boy. If the dog isn't located, the boy may have to undergo preventative treatment for rabies.
The boy was bitten on the ankle, Southwest of Caldwell on the low water bridge at 1170 W. 190th Street South
The dog is mostly white with possibly some tan at the shoulder area. The dog's owner is described as a white man, possibly in his 30s, with short brown hair and a goatee. He was driving a vehicle described as possibly a newer to 2000 model Chevrolet pickup truck. The truck was red that possibly had graphics on the side. The man was with two younger girls. They had been swimming together in the same area.
If you know the owner of the dog, call the Sumner County Sheriff's Office at (620) 326-8941.
