Oops! My apologies, misread. When I read the reply from Cindi, I thought it said Cliff. No, not stupid - had a bad migraine yesterday and eyes were really bad.

To Mimi and Cindy: I agree that anonymous is very rude, and sounds like he himself has rabies...maybe he should take the rabies shots.

I have to agree with Cliff here, anon @12:31. You're cold & heartless, not to mention rude. I know if it were my child that were bitten, I'd want to have the dog checked before my child were to undergo a painful and lengthy course of rabies vaccines. Wouldn't matter if it were a Jack Russell Terrier, Pit Bull, Spaniel or Poodle. A bite is a bite and should be taken seriously. Besides the possible medical treatment, there are medical bills to be paid now also. You can bet if my child were bitten by ANY animal, or even another child, I would make the owner/parent financially responsible for whatever medical bills. And I would expect the other party to hold me liable if the shoe were on the other foot. Perhaps you'd like to undergo rabies vaccines???

Anonymous: That boy is someones child and if your child may have to undergo Rabies prevention shots you would want the dog found. So shut up!!
