A jury has returned a guilty verdict in the trial of a man accused of killing a North Central Kansas farmer.
The Osborne County jury found Kenneth Eugene Wilson guilty of first degree murder, aggravated burglary, burglary of a residence and felony possession of a firearm.
Jeffrey Scott Noel of Portis was killed in March, 2008. Prosecutors showed that Wilson burglarized Noel's home, took his cell phone and $50, then shot Noel with the victim's own gun. Prosecutors also showed DNA evidence matching Wilson found on a cigarette in Noel's home.
