Car Flips In Saline County Accident

A driver traveling at a high rate of speed hit an embankment along Halstead Road, which sent the vehicle airborne. The vehicle then crashed through a barbed wire fence and came to a rest on its top. The driver was ejected and the passenger was pinned in the car.
The driver has been identified as 18-year-old Brandon Moses from Culver. He was taken to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment. He is in good condition this morning.
The passenger, 18-year-old Cody Horsley from Tescott was taken by medical helicopter to a Wichita hospital after firefighters released him from the vehicle. The hospital reports he is in fair condition.
According to Saline County Sheriff’s deputies, neither men were wearing their seat belts.
