You guys seem to miss the point on these closings. These dealerships were private businesses. Scary that our government has a hand in coming in and seizing a privately owned business and taking the inventory to another dealer down the road and leaving first business with millions in debt. They have demanded that businesses do remodeling that the dealers had to take out loans for and now are stuck with that debt too. And no, I'm not in any way associated with the car industry, except that I drive a GM product. My concern is the smell of socialism in our government. Hold your own private business close, because it may not be long until your inventory is given over to someone else and your doors closed by our governemnt.

I wouldn't praise so highly of Mike Stevens. We were just in there Saturday......you were sleezy, thus we left. Car Sales people don't have a good rep anyway.

As of right now no one at Chrysler is losing there job, they will be put to work somewhere else within the company. That is one good thing about being employeed with Mike Steven he will work with you so you do not have to lose your job. I have alot of respect for Mike Steven and the rest of the management there.

it's too bad these people will be losing their jobs, but automobiles have gotten so expensive and out of control it was just a matter of time before this happened. cars needs to be more affordable for the middle class of America. maybe they will learn... but probably not.

TO MR. JDW,and GL, this has nothing to do with the who owns the dealership is all to do with the Chrysler Corporation, and didnt your mom ever teach you if you cant say something nice dont say anything at all. You all must of been 2 of the 40 that got laid off because you were worthless..

I'd beg to differ with you. I and others that I know have gone over 100000 with the original motor and tranny. Chrysler products aren't the best in the world, but I've seen other brands also have problems before 100000 miles.
Posted by: GL Location: Wichita on May 14, 2009 at 05:41 PM

Yeah agree with MR. JDW- Too bad they can't just shut ALL the steven's operations down. What a bunch of crooks.
