Wilson County emergency responders have recovered the body of a man who fell into Fall River at Middle Dam near Neodesha.
Searchers found the body of Greg Fisher two miles downstream from where he went missing.
Fisher, 30, of Yates Center was with three other people Saturday when he reportedly fell into the water. Searchers have been looking for him since then.
Emergency management spokeswoman Cassandra Edson says thunderstorms forced divers out of the water Tuesday. As weather permits, the search will continue on Wednesday, though thunderstorms are in the forecast.
Wilson County Sheriff Dan Bath has stationed people along the river bank between the dam and Neodesha 24 hours a day in hopes of locating Fisher.
