Two people from Kansas have died in a crash on U.S. Highway 169 in northeastern Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 15-year-old Kyler Blagg of Caney, Kan., was driving north on the highway Saturday night when a car swerved to avoid a pickup truck in the southbound lanes and the two cars collided.

Blagg and 44-year-old passenger Amy Blagg of Caney were killed in the crash near the Nowata County town of Delaware.

The highway patrol says the pickup truck didn't have room to complete the pass it was attempting but didn't stop after the crash.
