What do you people have against people making a good honest living. I can't believe how jealous people can be over what another person makes!!!!! But we all have to work hard to keep your welfare going right????

Don't be ignorant Diane, they earn every penny of what they make. Lets face it, I sure wouldn't want to walk in pouring rain, hail, sleet, snow, ice, and of coarse those un-godly hot, humid days. Not to mention dogs and the sick ones out there. I wouldn't do it without a good wage eighther. Do you even know how much a letter carrier makes?

Postal carriers get paid too much as it is. Many people are having wage cuts or wage freezes..maybe they should stop giving them so many raises until the market gets better.

Still a bargain.

Even with rates going up, it is still a good deal. It would cost me a lot more than the 44 cents to drive a letter across the country or even across the city. I like to get real letters, magazines, etc. I appreciate all the post office does and the mailcarriers.
