The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office searched a home in Cedar Vale Friday and say they found a number of pipe bombs being constructed, as well as homemade gun silencers, a military smoke grenade and marijuana.

The Sheriff's Office, along with the ATF, Kansas Fire Marshall's Office and local police, executed a search warrant at the residence located on Lawrence Street in Cedar Vale.

Thirty-two year-old Marvin T. Smith and 33 year-old Holly Unruh were arrested at the scene.

The Chautauqua Sheriff's office says the case has been turned over to the County Attorney's Office for prosecution.
