This morning, 31-year-old Nathan Cunningham of Hutchinson, pled guilty to aggravated burglary, aggravated criminal threat, two counts of aggravated assault and felony obstruction of official duty. These pleas stemmed from a standoff with the Hutchinson Police Department at a Hutchinson Law Office on February 19, 2009.

In a second case, Nathan Cunningham also pled guilty to a charge of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer. This plea stemmed from an incident with the South Hutchinson Police Department, on October 11, 2008, where he commanded a large dog to attack officers.
In a third case, Nathan Cunningham also pled guilty to a charge of battery. This plea stemmed from his battery of a friend of his wife’s on November 12, 2007.

Sentencing on the three cases is scheduled to be held on May 29, 2009, in Division 2 of the Reno County District Court. It is anticipated that Nathan Cunningham will be sentenced to a controlling term of 216 months/18 years in prison and required to pay restitution expected to be more than $100,000.00.
