Maybe he can man the sub-stations at night.

Like Craig said he just can't walk into the station and steal a badge. The only way this would have been possible is if he was friends with an officer in the town and he stole it from said officers house. Sounds like some questions still need answered.

I wonder what this guy was doing to be impersonating an officer. Also, how did he steal a badge from a police department. You can't exactly take it off a cops chest or grab it from the back room of a private police department.

Ugh. So disturbing for various reasons. So do EVERY ONE a favor: when you're stopped,do so in a lit area...as many of us had for decades. Don't run, but at least stop in a trafficked area so you can see what you're dealing with. I've heard of this being a problem in Western Kansas...it's all about your gut feeling. Wimmens: (female here) don't stop if you don't feel safe in a remote area or dark street. The REAL police know why you'd want to go to a lit and safer area. Keep going for an area with people. On the other hand, by now almost everyone should know the difference between a real cop car and a twenty year old cop car with old cherry tops...so...stop, but safely. And always call 911 if you're being stopped or chased by police...if you have a story, it may get the police as an escort instead of a chaser. Like: if you're preggers or..sick. Course, if you are happen to be drunk...well...just STOP.
